Savage Rear Bumper

The rear bumper on my SR5 is pretty rusted up, and I see that Savage Offroad is having a pretty sweet deal that the more things you pick up with a skid plate combo the more discounts you get. I was looking at the rear bumper they have there, and am thinking about that.

I have a couple questions about it though:

The first question is how good is it? Does anyone have one and would they reccomend it?

The next question is why is it that there doesn't seem to be any pictures anywhere with the swing out tire carrier? Is not popular, is it not good to get, or do tire carriers and 4runners just not go together?

I just got one with the passenger side swing out. Very good quality build! I have painted mine but have not been able to mount it yet so sorry no pics.

1st - It is awesome!! Love my Savage rear bumper. Wouldn't go with anything else now that I have it. Great ground clearance, quality build, and excellent customer service from Roy. He builds a great product and it fit perfect. Bolted right up with no problems. Check out my build for more photos of it.

2nd - You don't see a whole lot of the tire carriers with his bumper because this is a fairly new option. Most people who have his bumper did have this as an option when they bought it. I don't have it but may look into down the road.

For the price, you really can't be it. I have been very pleased with the quality and craftsmanship of all the products I've ordered from them. I think they are an underrated company.

I have the basic rear bumper, not the swing out.

I like mine a lot and always get compliments.
