Saw 5th gen in dealer showroom

My first time up close and personal. The first thing I noticed about the interior was they no longer have a grab handle on the driver's "A" pillar. I'm short, so since they also no longer have running boards, I had a chore just getting into it. So many features on the 4th gen have been removed. Understandable (¥en vs $US), but sad. This one was a SR5 with leather. No navigation. Sticker just north of $40k (before taxes and fees).

I now appreciate my 4th gen more than ever. Will keep it maintained as best I can and then hand it down to my son in a few years. Definitely worth keeping our 4th gen in the family.

I am 5' 10", though I dont use running board, I do use pillar handle to get in. I had the same sentiments about 5th Gen, when last time I tried it...just for kicks (literally) :naughty:
