Scangauge II calibration for bigger tires?

Hey folks -

Recently did a lift and upsized to 265/70/17 tires. I'd also like to calibrate my Scangauge for the tires to make up for the ~3% difference. Anybody know the correct way to do this, or is the Scangauge calibrating MPG based on engine load and RPM?

There's the ability to adjust the speed -- best way I can think to do it is get a handheld GPS unit and hold my speed steady at 60mph and then adjust the Scangauge accordingly, but maybe I'm overthinking it.

Any ideas there?

thats the only way to do it, the correct way. im sure a 2%-4% is all u need, i think i have it on 4% on my scanguage, this is with 285/40r22 from 265/65r17.
