Scion/Electrical help

Alright, here is the problem........Just installed a Scion HU and am very happy with the results and ease of installing. However, after everything was put back together, I found that my rear window will not go down. I tried the up/down btn up front, the btn on the remote and the key. Nothing worked. Also, the rear defrost and the rear window wiper does not work. I assume their is some common connection somewhere. I took everything back apart and made sure that are the electrical connector are tight. I also checked the fuses although I wasn't real sure if there is a common fuse. Any Suggestions?

Can you lower the window, by using the key at the back door? If you turn the key all the way left this should lower the rear window.

If that works, then verify if the window lock (near the window controls) is pressed in. If it is pressed in, then the windows are inoperable. If the rear window is even slightly lowered, then the rear wiper and defroster will not work.

Thanks for the imput. Yeah, I tried the key and nothing worked at all.
I'm not really sure how I did it but everything works as normal now. My wife also asked if I checked the window lock and I really hoped that I was not that stupid. The window lock lock was locked but even after I unlocked it still nothing worked. So I tried the only thing I could think of and did a "control/alt/delete" of the electrical system and disconnected the battery. Low and behold after I reconnected it everything worked fine. It's hard for me to believe that the position of the window lock switch when I disconnected and reconnected the batt had anything to do with it, but everything is working normal and that is all that I care about.

mine did the same thing, but the problem corrected itself in a few days. my rear window did the same damn thing when i installed my scion hu, it didn't roll back up. i had to use my key to roll my window back up from outside the read door. i figured that i would have to take everything out again and double check that i installed everything correctly. i left the window up for a few days waiting for the next weekend to tackle the problem but by then it fixed itself. *shrug*

i did remember reading somewhere that you have to reset the automatic windows after disconnecting/reconnecting the battery. maybe that has something to do with it? having to reset it after it's been disconnected?
