Scion head unit question...

I own an '04 4Runner with the 6 disc in dash changer and the 10 speaker JBL system and I believe that I read earlier that the Scion 6 disc Mp3 player is not compatible with the JBL system. Is this true or am I getting my posts mixed up here?

Also since I have the 6 disc factory head unit already, do I HAVE to get the Scion 6 disc as compared to the single disc unit?

All you guys on here got me pumped and ready to go out and buy one of these, but I wanted to make sure that what I am getting will work.

I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but the Scion radios, whether single or 6-disc will not work with the factory JBL Synthesis radios, so it doesn't matter if you get a 6-disc or a single disc, they won't work on your car.

I was afraid of that....are there any adapters that can make this work?

Any other suggestions for an Mp3 player head unit?

Know of any that are multi-disc?

Back on this BlitzSafe adapter if we can :) .

So does this not allow the rear audo option to work any longer, or does it just plug into another port on the back of the radio? I don't really care if I lose the rear audio, I just want a good way to put my XM Radio signal into the radio. Wireless FM transmitter doesn't work well.

Thanks!!

Another questions.......Anyone know if there is a multi-disc in-dash Mp3 changer that is on the market that would fit the '04 4Runner?
