Scion Headunit Sound Differences?

Greetings, I have an 07' 4Runner with the base (non JBL) audio headunit. Found out about the Scion Pioneer units here. I have no need for the Ipod control but do was to keep my aux in. Lots of the T1807 models (the one with the volume knob in the middle?) for sale cheaper than the T1808's. As far as sound quality are there differences between these two? Can you plug both antennae into the T1807? Thanks in advance

There is a sticky for this....

I am betting the sound quality is not really very good. Sorry but I looked into the SCION head units and even the SCION-by-Alpine HU had a signal to noise ratio of only 65 db. They also don't put out very many watts.

I think they are probably a decent solution if you really want that clean factory look but if you really want something that sounds great do this ... pickup a used Kenwood Excelon or Alpine from EBAY ($99-$199) and pair it with small 4-channel amp ($199-$250) + a really good set of speakers - Infinity, Polk, Alpine, Boston Acc, JL-Audio ($99 - $150 for fronts)

The two brands I mentioned both have consistent signal-to-noise ratios of 109-110 db ... compared to 65 db on the SCION factory units.
