Hey Guys.. With all the awesome help from the site, I decided to install a T1809 Scion radio.. with the resistor mod.. The stereo sounds great and the aux input in the center console still works! (resistor mod required fyi).. the only issue is when I have my phone/ipod plugged into the aux input playing music(i didn't get the Ipod cable..) AND plugged into the power outlet to charge the phone/ipod... the AUX on the deck sometimes switches itself back to FM radio...I can then hit the AUX button and it goes back to the ipod/phone playing.. but not too much longer it will pop back to the FM. If i am playing music and I plug the phone/ipod into power, it will immediately switch back to FM...
Any of you electrical guys have any thoughts or insight into this?? Why would plugging the device into power cause the AUX on the radio to switch to FM?
