Yo, Monroe! Nah, it's still ratty, and getting more rusty. I pulled out the EFI and put the carb back in it and she launches hard again. Saving up for paint and body, hopefully before I die of old age lol

Rust in Cali? No way! All is good here. My GF got laid off in Jan & was out of work for 4 months. It was tight paying all the bills on my salary but she's working again. It'll take a little while to pay off some debt. The good news is that I have lots of parts already bought for the 3RZ build. Now that the weather's nice I can get back on that without spending money.

Yep, trying to get motivated to get back working on the Metallica truck. I bought a 20 ton press to do my real axles. Hopefully Sat I'll have the time to pull the DS axle out & remove the rear bumper. I have the SS body mounts to put in before I install the SW swingout bumper. I have an overland trip in Aug up to Vermont & New Hampshire so I'm staring to feel the pressure. LOL

Hopefully Sat I'll have the time to pull the DS axle out & remove the rear bumper. I have the SS body mounts to put in before I install the SW swingout bumper. I have an overland trip in Aug up to Vermont & New Hampshire so I'm staring to feel the pressure. LOL

Nice. Hop to it man! Tic toc, we want to see it on there man. Hahaha. Good luck with the project. It is already gotten a lot warmer here and that's a demotivating factor for me sweating under a vehicle. LOL.

Don't forget the torch and kroil for those body mount bolts! If mine were frozen up, yours definitely are!

The nuts are already loose. Last year when I had the bumper off I soaked them in WD40 & then tapped them open with an openend wrench and a mallet. They came loose without any stripping. :loco:

Still daily driving her. No issues at all & she's up to 244K. This 4Runner is a f#ckin' beast!
Changed the oil last Sat, pushed it to 4800 miles on Quaker State conventional with the larger Tundra filter. The oil was still amber. I buy the Toyota filter 5 packs off Amazon & use them on both rigs.
