scrap, rebuild, or new motor?

I'll be buying it tomorrow. $375

The plan is to just put in a rebuilt motor. Have people had luck with Toyota Truck Engine ?

I picked up a 93 a few weeks back as well same problem someone does not know what oils is I just order a motor for jdm engine zone out of NJ from everyone I have talked with local they said they have never had a problem with them I got the runner for 300 plus the 1300 for the motor and 120 shipping to my door and will have a good solid truck for my oldest to drive. That is if she will every wake up to the fact I am not going to by her a newer whip then what I am driving. I have a 96 t4r that just turned over 250k today lol. So a case of beer and a few pizzas and a weekend of wrenching should have her a nice ride for under 2k

I'm Jelly. My friend who was going to sell it to me agreed with a price and we set a time to meet and me to purchase it. ( a few days out as she said she was busy) Then, yesterday (the day were were to meet) she texted me and told me she sold it to someone else for $50 dollars more. Some people's kids.
