Scratch Remover ?

What is the best scratch remover on the market today? Wife's shoe sliped while getting in the other week. Just washed the 4R and noticed the 4"-5" long scratch right below the crome on the 'rocker panel' from her heel, owch. :redbrick:

I know over time I will get them, but this one is very noticible.

Looks like it is time to get the SE running boards for the 5'1" wife! I was really hoping I would have more options but it seems to be taking a while for people to release products for the new 4R.

After washing and drying, I use Kit (yellow bottle) scratch remover. Then the Meguiar's 3-Step process (Paint Cleaner, Polish, Wax). Then i put another coat of Meguiar's NXT 2.0 wax. Let the flames begin for me double-waxing. lol

Same experience here.....black car + wife who doesn't really pay attention with all her zippers + 2 young kids =

Meguires Scratch "X" 2.0 then NXT 2.0 - seems work quite well.

i give the area a wash, then apply scratch X and then wax over it with the NXT.

The absolute best is Race Glaze ( Leveling compound ) it is what the body shops use. It will not leave marks or damage clear coat. It is a very fine compound and will need some elbow grease but you won't be sorry! I had my Harley saddle bags just painted and about a month later I went to wipe off the wax I had just put on and there was some dirt in the rag, lo and behold Swirl scratches. The Race Glaze took them all out.
You can buy it online because I don't think you will find it in an auto parts store. It's about $16.00 but it's the best $16.00 you'll spend.You will be amazed. Just remember Elbow grease and some time and the area will not even look as if you have to put wax on that area.:reddance:
