Thanks for the write up! Seeing the write up now, I see why you had the issue with the laser cut fitment.

The actually part of the Switch Pros panel has been revised slightly smaller, so if you had an older Switch Pros unit (which I am assuming you do), you had the first revision. That is why you had to dremel it out slightly. We have come across very few of them. Next time you have any issues, feel free to message me, we would of had no problem getting that back to us and getting a properly sized cut one out to you. We do have a file for the older style if anybody needs that cut.

We are working with Switch Pros to figure out a way to recognize which style the keypads are for the people who own the Switch Pros already.

I would always recommend to test fit it prior. If it does need to be trimmed, we can get an alternate one out that is already cut. Just let me know. July should be okay.

On a side note, for those of you not wanting to do any cutting or utilize that stock 4 switch location, I was able to securely flush mount the switch panel with no cutting in that area. Just used one of the backing brackets instead of 2 (it's still extremely secure using just one).

This is a great solution if you want to keep the availability of those stock switch locations though.

I definitely have their older version after looking back at the group buy I purchased it from. Thanks again, this is a great product and you're a great company. Any hints on what the next 5th gen 4runner SwitchPros mount would look like from you guys? :eyebrows:

I love SDHQ products. I recently discovered them as well. Their ditch light brackets are hands down the best. They also make an engine bay mount for the Switch Pro wiring harness.

I'd probably go with this if I didn't have the Slee ARB Compressor mount which just eats up that engine bay space.

Also, I'm glad to hear such positive feedback on their ditch light brackets. I bought a CB mount/Ditch light bracket from CBI a while back and was so disappointed with the fit. Why would they make a bracket that necessitates you cutting or melting the cowl in order for it to fit? That's probably my prompt to get rid of it and just buy the SDHQ version already!

I love this solution for mounting the switch pros and i think its how i mount mine. However is it possible to order it without your logo on the side? I know it cant be seen when the door is closed, but it will bug me every time I get in.

You might as well not buy the mount then... Thats essentially saying I like your product but don't want your name on it. Thats a bit silly and thats coming from someone who is detail oriented and OCD... You'll get used to it.

That's exactly what I'm saying. I absolutely dislike having a companys name plastered on my 4runner. I understand it being there to help the company get brand recognition, but I paid for the product and now I need to be a billboard for you as well?

This mount is designed to look oem and that's why I love it. Putting there name on the side kinda defeats that. I figured it was an additional step to ad there name and it might save them time so money $$$ in there pocket. I don't wanna be rude and any company selling a good product gets my support. I just didn't wanna have the logo.

I've modded many cars over the years and I think the off road market brands there products more/larger than other sections of the aftermarket automotive industry.

I nicely asked them if they offered it without there logo. They can simply say yes or no and I can make a decision if I want the product or not. Hardly spitting in there face.

I design and make jewelry for a living and if I only made rings with my logo on the side i'd be bankrupt in no time. People ask me every day to make things different than the way it was originally designed. Should I be offended?

We do not offer these products without our logo into them. It is all part of the same laser cutting program. It is very subtle and unless you are looking for it, most people don't even see it.
