which line do i suck up the seafoam with? i have the 4 cylinder and i have no idea which one it is. If someone can post a pick that would be awesome! thanks

I don't want to give you the wrong info but I used the vacuum line that ran to my brake booster. Thats what a mechanic friend of mine suggested but it wasn't for the 4cylinder. Can't imagine it would be any different though.

I used the same one for some BG44k on my 4 cyl a while back,

Here's a few pics but make sure you feed it in slow, don't let the engine stall.

The guy told me to pour it in until it stalled. I poured as fast as I could and it never did stall. smoked like hell though

just did it. waiting to start it back up. gotta wait 30 minutes right? and yeah i was told to make it stall too and mine just wouldnt give up. i was pouring really fast too. hahah finally turned it off after a bit.

Just wondering how that worked for you I ask because I see the line you used is right above the 2nd cylinder port looks to me like the line that comes off of the top at the throttle body valve would be a better location to get the sea-foam or what ever you use to all 4 cylinders instead of just the first 2
just my observation but I have done this kind of thing only on older carborated motors so you just dump it straight down the carb.

I definitely experienced a positive difference, but I bet the other two didn't get the cleansing the others did.

Just something to think about. Also when I did this it was because I had a stuck valve and I used a mixture of 50%ATF, 25%STP, 25%5w-30 total one quart get engine to running temp then pour in slowly at first at about 2000rpm then dump it in till it died let set over night a HOLLY SMOKE CLOUD the next morning but worked great thing ran like a champ afterwords. The thing smoked so much I,m sure they would arrest you here in So Cal.

That was my thought but the old guy that told me to do this had never steered me wrong before and it did work for me a side note this was on a 75 scoutt 2 no smog anything.

Just used seafoam in my '95 for the 1st time today. WOW! That was a lot of smoke. I only let it sit for 5 minutes though. Should I do it again and let it sit longer next time? I also poured the rest of the bottle in the gas tank. Hopefully I'll see a MPG improvement in the next few tanks. Right now I'm getting around 14-16 mpg.
