Seafoaming Process???

I thought I read somewhere that that doesnt hit all the cylinders......or was that just for the 3.4 v6?

Anyone know the answer to this question? I was gonna do it later today, getting the oil changed on monday.

It didn't cure my spluttering problem but I like to think she's running a little better now.

I use the whole can of SeaFoam in the vac. line.....I do it every 3 months and the 4runner is running better every time:tongue:

Heh, I shuold probably do mine again before the next oil change. I poured mine into a small cup and stuck the brake booster hose into the cup and its sucked it all up within a few seconds!! 8(

Next time ill try pouring it slowing down the hose. Mine had a shietload more white smoke than yours did and it lasted a good 5 mins driving around the block, hehe. Neighbours must think my car is a piece of crap.

Yeah I think I may buy two cans next time. Dump one entire can down the vacuum hose & maybe part of the second can in the gas & oil.

Mine almost stalled every time I poured small amounts down the vacuum line. Then again it was only idling. I assume you had someone with their foot on the gas when you did the cup trick? I'm pretty sure mine would have stalled out if I'd tried that on my own.

I do like the idea of getting a whole load of the stuff in there fast so it can really do some work. I was disappointed at the amount of white smoke I got. All the other videos I've seen where much more impressive. Will have to try it again in a few weeks.

Yeah i heard it stalls sometimes so I had my revs up around 1200rpm and it sucked it up pretty quick!

Next time I might try the idle method on my own
