Sealed Transmission FILTER change

Question though. Has anyone also changed the filter? I know it's a good filter, but at some point the sucker should get changed, right?

Everything i've read says you don't have to. It's a screen, does not have a filter media element like an oil filter.

I really don't know, I guess it couldn't hurt to change it.
