Searched! Will a 5th gen OME lift fit a 4th gen?

I have a complete OME lift on my 5th gen, 884 with trim packer and toytec superflex rear. I am going to remove the lift and sell the 5th gen. I just purchased a 2006 V8 Limited and was hoping that maybe.... Just maybe this 5th gen lift will fit my new 4th gen? Maybe? Anybobu have a clue if this will work or not? Thanks in advance!

If I were to guess, I'd say it will, but that's just because I've seen posts of members that have gained a small amount of lift by putting 5th gen stock suspension components on their 4th gen, but I'm not sure.

Go to toytec and check part #'s!! The toytec superflex are same #'s, if same numbers it's same suspension!

Ok the rear super flex coils and shocks have the same part numbers. 884 spring will fit the front. The only difference in part numbers is for the front OME shock-- 03-09 is 9000 and 10+ is 900010 so a call on Monday to toytec will be in order to verify if there is any differences at all!!!

I called ARB today and spoke with the tech dept. The front shock on 4th gen is the same length but the bushung at the bottom and top are not the same. ARB tech said they wont fit period. Hope this helps.

I would imagine you can buy new 4th gen strut top hats. Depending on top.

I cant seem to find anything that for sure says they will fit. Toytec says no, ARB says the bushings are different the spring cup is different and lower bushing is a different size. Sadly I have had a few willing buyers with 4th gens!

I think it's like putting the 2010+ FJ cruiser suspension on your rig. You need to grind about 1/8" and off the bushings or 1/16" off each side and slightly enlarge your rear strut hole - or use a shackle like toytec does.

I had the same question and emailed Toytec, and got this response back:

"I think the 90010 should still work as i know of quite a few people that have installed the 90000's on the 5th gens."
