Seasonal pricing of 4Runners?

I have been looking to buy a 3rd Gen 4Runner, but the prices around here seem a little ambitious. There are several examples of the prices I'm referring to at the end of my post. I am wondering if I can get better deals if I wait until the Spring. My question... Do the market prices of 4Runners seem to increase in the Fall/Winter and drop somewhat in the Spring/Summer?

I do think people jack up their prices around here during peak season for getting a 4x4 but I can still find them for a great deal on CL here in the Reno/Tahoe area.

I know the "what's it worth" questions have probably been asked on here ad nauseam, so I won't go there. I typically use Edmunds.com to find used car values. Do you, or anyone else, find that the values provided through Edmunds are appropriate/high/low?

I see some private parties asking prices that are double what they should be for dealer retail, according to Edmunds.

Thanks for the data points. From that list, it looks like the prices around you are much better than they are on the far-west coast. In addition to waiting for a less desirable truck season, I'm also thinking of doing some shopping out of state when I'm ready to buy, to find a decent deal on exactly what I want.

Here in the Boston area there is a significant difference in Fall/Early Winter prices as opposed to Spring/Early Summer.... I would think any area that has the potential for significant snow fall would see the same....
