Seat Covers - Wet Okole vs Cover King

Thanks for the info..... don't have my swatches yet but based on what I've seen, I'll most likely go with all "Black" for the Sport interior..... on the other hand, I haven't ruled out aftermarket leather....

I received a package today

The seat covers look very nice. I ordered the standard black with the charcoal (11) inside panels. Overall, I would say both the black and the charcoal look darker than the pictures you see on the web; yet lighter than the color swatches on their online order form. There are so many variables with images on the web and camera exposure that the only way you will truly know the colors is to order swatches. I was told by Wet Okole that the light gray is closer to a silver for what its worth.

WHAT LOGO/GRAPHIC DID YOU GET??

Hey Guys,

I'm ordering my covers from wet okole covers within the next couple of days...What logos did you guys get AND in what colors??

I'm getting the full piping light gray (#21) with Charcoal (#11) piping. I wanted to get a toyota logo in #11 also, but that is not an option. They have Gray as an option for the logo but the wet okole rep said that color gray has hints of PINK!---which i don't want.

I was thinking maybe the graphite LEATHER color but i'm not sure what that would look like...did anybody here get the leather graphic option? if so what's it feel/look like? Can you post a close up pic?

Those look real nice. I have just purchased a 2007 SR5 V6 4x4 with 3rd Row seats. I took the option of Side Curtain Airbags (GY Code). Does these seat covers allow the seat air-bags to deploy without any hinderance?

I just ordered mine a week ago, and they asked if I had the side curtin airbags because they had to account for those. I took that to mean they could still make them if you did have it. I do not have them so he never said anything after I told him that. But I would call them, they do have some very nice people working there when I called, I felt more comfortable making sure I ordered the correct items by calling.

Alright, I just ordered two front seat sets--one for my 4runner & one for my IS 300.

4Runner: Full Piping, Light Gray #21 with Charcoal #11 Piping. I also got the Toyota graphic TYT011 in Gray and back pockets for both passenger and drivers side.

IS 300: Full Piping, Tan #17 with Taupe #100 piping. I also got the Lexus "L" graphic in cashmere and back pockets for both passenger and drivers side.

NOT CHEAP @ $328 for each front pair, $656 total.

I'll post pics once I install them. They said it takes 2-3 weeks

I haven't had a chance to get them on, but I'm hoping to do it Saturday and I'll try to remember to take some pictures. I did put them on the rear headrest as I have those out due to size of the child seats and they look very nice and fit well.

I did take a picture of the lower covers on one of the third row seats that I have in my office and the flash almost makes the charcoal and the SR5 gray look the same, but they are not. (I didn't buy them for the third row, but probably will order a set to match the other two rows).

You can have them with side airbags. They leave a large cut-out on the sides of the front seats. The other side airbags are curtains from the top so they don't matter.

I take back my comment on the smell. They stink, but it should fade soon enough.

I like them enough that I plan on putting them on the '01 & probably on the Tundra if the fit is as good as most say it is.

I have grey and black wet okole seat covers that match my interior. I dont have any complaints about them. I like them because I go surfing a lot and i dont have to worry about getting my seats wet

I NEVER figured the Charcoal Grey was that light! When I think Charcoal Grey I think of a charcoal briquet, very dark almost black. That Charcoal grey is a perfect match!

Well I installed mine this weekend, thought I would post a few photos....

Rear Seats Complete:

Notes: In order to get the rear cover flaps under the back part of the seats, you have to deal with the middle seatbelt (the chest part). In order to tuck the flap all the way around you have to go around this little elastic holder deal (I just cut it), which is used to hold the seat belt closer the the seat I guess, Don't worry it was not part of the seatbelt in anyway, you could also unbolt the seat belt from the frame and then reattach it after you slide the cover flap under,but I didn't want to mess with the seatbelt bolt that is probably torqued to some "standard". If you look at the middle seatbelt on your ride and follow it down to the bottom you will see the elastic loop I am taking about. Once again not a big deal to deal with, i just cut it.

Note: on my SE I had to remove this rear cover to get the covers underneath the rear seats. Not a big deal. you can see what I mean, I have the cover on the far seat and I had to remove the cover to get the bottom part up to velcro, you can see the bottom part of the cover just poking out.

Back side of front seats, I ordered the pockets, as some said on here I think they are better as they are deeper pockets.

Notice the air freshener in the one, trying to get the wet suit smell out of the car

Also as some said I just tucked the flap from the stock cover up behind the Okole covers.
