is yours lether or cloth? i assume leather will break up with or w/o seat covers, never tried it....

BUT i have cloth and have had the covers on since i bought the car new...1996, and i took them off about a year ago to wash the covers.... and the seats looked brand new, besides the side foam was crushed on on driver side seat... but thats it!

i try to keep my car clean and being a mechanic i drove cars all day, in and out of the shop. i cant belive how trashed some of the cars get.... and not many have seat covers... i would say get covers! you will not regret is in 10 years!

I have Wet Okole covers in my 1998 Limited with factory leather. The factory seats were cracked and warn, and I had the $550 to drop on the Wet Okoles.

Let me just say, they blow my mind. I've never seen covers even close to these in quality and fit and finish. My cheapskate coworkers blasted me when they found out what I spent on the covers. The second they opened the doors to my vehicle they said, "woah..." and haven't said a word since.

I put OME suspension on my 4Runner (which I love) and 33" BFGs, but the Wet Okoles are still the best money I've spent on it yet.

Nice... thanks.
Do the wet okoles provide any extra support? any ideas on where to buy for cheaper, or are they the same price everywhere?

They have a thin foam backing to them, and keep you planted extremely well (i.e. no sliding all over like the factory leather). As far as I know, you can only buy them from Wet Okole. Maybe I'm mistaken here, though. The customer service was great and they sent me actual samples to make sure I matched my interior.

GT Covers

I just got a set of GT covers for the front seats....they claim they are made to order and fit perfect, and they did! Very nice covers, look like a factory seat and has all the right pouches and access holes...

Danimal, this is off-topic of the seat covers, but how much lift did you need from the factory suspension to fit the 33 bfg's i want to get some 33x11.50, but i want to make sure that it will look good with a 2.5x2 lift....

I did the Toytec 3" lift with OME springs and shocks. It came with a 1/2" top out spacer to even out the ride. I had to pound the pinch weld flat on the back side of the front wheel wells with a sledge to fit the tires . Honestly, I wish I had done a 2" body lift also and 35" tires.

The pinch weld is behind the inner wheel well plastic. My advice; install the lift and the tires and figure out where it rubs. Trim the plastic and pound the pinch weld as needed. Its not a big deal with 33" A/T tires.
