seat removal

Stuck CAPS

I can't find myself being able to disconnect the wiring from the bottom of the seats when attempting to remove them. Im planning on steam cleaning my carpets, and would like to get the seats out for that.

Whenever I'm pulling the seats, I find it easiest to undo the feet bolts and lay them back. Then you have greater access to the clips.

One of the clips always seems to put up a fight but you can actually take the entire connector (still connected) off of the metal where it mounts to the seat. It slides off a tab IIRC. Then you have more room and flexibility to get the clip undone.

Hope that makes sense and helps!

It's VERY simple. I did it when I took the foam out of my driver's seat and shaved it down to get some more headroom. If I can do it, anyone can (now, taking the covers off the seats is another kind of PITA, entirely, but still doable).
