Seat repair...it can be done

This seat has 380,000+ miles and nearly 20 years of ass-time on it. I want see someone do this nifty magic trick and make it look all new again too.

I won't hold my breath though...

Ha that's a gravy job. It may cost ya a little more but it can be done. You have to remember the guys I have worked with take a seat like this and cut new leather panels out and sews them in place nothing really magic about it just like patching a pair of pants.

Upholstery guys, salt lake city, $750, 6 to 8 weeks...you can find them on ebay.

Keep them lexoled, and they will last longer then the rest of vehicle, and likely you...

I'm glad someone revived this post as I forgot to post pics down the road after this repair. Well here it is 2 yrs and 4 mos later. Here are the current pics I just took. You can see the one area is showing a slight crease but no tear. On the side support you can see where the dye is wearing off and on the seat side support you can see some veining but no real cracking yet. I'm very pleased this lasted so long being a DD in our climate.

I messed around with some seats today..

Getting the back portion off is way easier than the bottoms...

I’m working on swapping In the heaters for my 2000.

Those hog ties are hard to get to pushed into the foam
