Seattle shop reference

I'm planning on lifting my 4Runner with bilstein adjustable coils upfront and some sort of Old Man Australia setup in the rear with bilstein shocks.

I'm thinking of going to get the work done at this shop:

Any of you Seattle folks used them? Thoughts? They were helpful on the phone.

I'm thinking of a 3" lift up front and whatever in the back for a slight rake (less than stock).

I'm thinking of going with 32" tires and not 33s just so I can be conservative as I do not want to touch the fenders or linings.

This is a 99.9% urban crawler rig that I use as a commuter/chores truck and another car for fun.

Haha it's just a 4Runner man, they aren't Ferrari's or anything.. I'm lazy as hell.. if I can pay someone to install something for a decent price then that's the way I'm going.

I'm in the same boat as you. Especially if they can do it better than I can. It's certainly better than getting half way through the install, getting stuck on something, frustrated, pissed off, and starting to throwing wrenches.

I had my lift done down in Auburn at Auburn Car Repair and Offroad. Talk to John. Super nice guy, pretty affordable, I was referred to them by people on the FJ website.

It must be great to not have to worry about money.

I'm actually the opposite...if I can afford a Ferrari, I won't spend time working on the vehicle myself. My time will be worth more.

The reality is that most people dont have the tools or the knowlege to disasemble a suspension system. Pay some one to do it right. Don't mess up your $30k car on $300 worth of parts.
