Got a chance to try out my Kahr CM9 as well.

Today, Sunday. I adjusted my Fox coilovers to get my 3" of lift back. I didn't buy the spanner wrench from Fox as I initially thought it would come with the coilovers. They want an additional $50 for it.

Instead I used a 5/16" HF punch that I modified. Took a dremel and smoothed/tapered the end of the punch until it fit perfectly in the collar hole. Do it right and you won't mar the finish of the collar. I sprayed WD-40 for every turn of the collar, it just made things easier with lubrication. I put blue tape as a reference to where the factory pre-load was. For every 8 threads equaled 1" of lift. I did 12 threads on the driver side and 10 on the passenger. It's a helluva pre-load so I'll see if I get any coil bind from this.

Easy to adjust, although Fox RECOMMENDS using a wall-mounted spring compressor to adjust the collar but how many green shade mechanics have that?? I think it defeats the whole purpose of having adjustable coilovers.

Felt the same as it did with the factory pre-load. I turned them down 4 threads because I want some rake back when I load up the rear.

Found out both endlinks decided to quit on me at 34k. Explained that intermittent "pop" noise when I turned my wheels. Removed the sway bar and eliminated the sound. Ordered a new set of OEM links today.

I'm just across Rainier Ave from you in Mt Baker. Will be moving to Beacon Hill in June most likely, actually.

I've only lived here for a year. How do you find places to drive around the area? I'm not interested in hardcore mudding or rock climbing, but just being able to hit some dirt roads or forest roads and just peel off somewhere and camp for the night or something like that would be awesome. I have no idea how to even begin discovering places though. (Also in need of some proper tires first, most likely)

I normally just find any forest road and wander around using Gmaps or Gaia. You can find plenty of easy spots to explore and camp along I-90 as you get toward the pass. There isn't really anything difficult here unless you go looking for the technical stuff at in ORV parks. Another resource I use is www.trailsoffroad.com/. It's free but gotta register to see the maps.

Put on a new pair of oem links. Feels good to have some stability back on the highway. Hopefully I can get at least another 30k out of these.

Eibach 14" 700# coils came in. Ordered from Summitracing.com part # 1400.300.0700S. These ought to hold up all my extra weight. The factory Fox setup came with 13" 600# coils and they most definitely can't hold the additional weight of a steel bumper plus winch. I am currently running 350lbs up front without a winch installed yet. I am also running an insane amount of preload that can't be good for the longevity of the coilovers. Going to install these sometime after the Halibut opener in May.

Here are some measurements on my current setup on 13" 600lb Fox/Eibach coils. I am running an additional 350lbs toward the front. The new coils will be able to handle the additional load with less preload. Installing them on Saturday.

Today I swapped out to the heavier coils. Close to the same amount of lift but way less preload, approximately 1" of visible thread on driver/passenger side and with room for adjustments if needed. Ride feels firmer compared to the stock 600# coils.

These are my current measurements with the 14" 700# Eibachs; top is passenger, bottom is driver.

Picked up my bumper from powder coating. The old rattled can black wore off in 7 months with rust spots everywhere.

Had it all sand blasted off, chemical bath, epoxy and coated with a nice medium texture black. Now it it too nice to take it through the scrubs.
