Never said it wasn't wrong but a threat versus actually doing it, is completely different. I'm sure you can see that. The example I gave was done and a complete abuse of power. Not even close to this Georgia thing, not even on the same page.

The reason I typically stay out of these discussions is because of what is playing out everywhere from this thread to the rest of social media to Georgia's legislature to DC and a lot of the world. It's to [MENTION=146684]WallyT4R[/MENTION]'s point, though this is not directed at anyone here, it's a general observation. Both sides are guilty: so many people - especially those that complain the loudest - have migrated out to the extremes of the left or right. The level of hypocrisy and inability to compromise increases exponentially as you move away from center. Things get done toward the middle. Out at the edges it's just noise.
Don't get me wrong - we're all guilty to a degree of hypocrisy and conveniently ignoring facts that don't fit our views. But I quickly move on from any discussion with someone who clearly can't even acknowledge contradictory facts or understand that the only result you get by insisting your way is the only way is nothing. They have zero credibility.
"We're more divided than ever" - well, that's because braying and "showing them" feels good but accomplishes nothing, and it seems more and more people are satisfied with that instead of seeking real solutions.

Obama had his AG launch an investigation. The investigation found that front line people were doing the wrong thing and had a BOLO list for those groups. The ACLU said it was wrong, Democratic senators called for firing the head of the IRS and anyone involved, liberal talking heads called it wrong

in this post you implied that the lt. governor was just excersising free market principals. it's not that at all, you realized why you were wrong and now you are trying to dance around that. Examples of free market protests would be private people buying keurigs so you can destroy them, or buying starbucks and giving fake names (lol).

Facts matter:
Soros and Bloomberg are throwing money at the "spontaneous" school protests.
Delta decided to play politics, but they are acting butthurt when someone plays politics back.
Davig Hogg is a filthy liar who wasn't in the same building or even knew the victims, but now he is an expert on guns, police tactics, and gun control--but we are to cry for this "innocent child victim."

delta is allowed to set policies about what organizations they offer discounts too, politicians aren't allowed to threaten to attack private companies for it when they just said that the tax wasn't a hand-out and was needed because it benefited the people of the state
David Hogg is a senior at the school, he was huddled in a classroom during the shooting. He literally filmed a video of it. It sounds like you have fallen for nonsense conspiracy theories about him (confirmed by your soros comment). At the very least you have fallen for the right wing attacks... on a high school student... who survived a school shooting. That alone is pretty deplorable.

The special Prosecutor was appointed under Republican control of the government. Most of the folks involved are life long Republicans.
Robert Mueller is a hardcore Republican and former director of the FBI. I would say that Trump weaponized the FBI against himself.
Why has he never once even criticized Russia for their actions interfering in our elections. It is borderline treasonous and definitely shameful.

Wow, everything I talked about in my last post is playing out before my eyes. I think we were discussing the 2nd Amendment at some point and a friend pointed out something interesting: it's the only amendment that expressly states that it "shall not be infringed."

He has earned, and is getting a beating in the public eye. He has long ago lost any privilege to be an "innocent kid" and he deserves to be ridiculed for being a political tool.
And I never said Soros and Bloomberg are paying anyone, they are, however helping organize all of these protests and sending their tools like Mothers Demand Action to play interference.
I'm glad Hogg Boy's 15 minutes are almost up, it's hilarious to watch him throw tantrums on Twitter. I will laugh my ass off when he melts down on TV.
Also, based on what other shooting survivors have been saying on the news, odds are the reason he's not gone back to school is that he's going to get an ass beating from people who were actually shot at and lost friends in the attack and are sick of him exploiting their deaths for his political crusade.
