Secure Storage Options for the 4th Gen 4TR

All,

I am trying to determine what options exist for securing valuable / important things inside the T4R for a short amount of time (< 4 hrs). In the jeep world, Tuffy has some products which help with securing things. I am wondering what exists for the 4runner.

Things to consider storing:

• Wallet
• Keys
• Small Firearm
• Jewelry
• etc....

Preferring something concealable, metal, and lockable. Thanks!

This isn't 4th gen / 4runner specific, but can be mounted to most anything and is pretty secure and should be able to hold the items you mentioned.

Ok, I'll be the one to ask.....have you thought about stuffing your crap in the glovebox and locking the vehicle?

Why not take those items with you......?
Jewelry, why bring it with you in the first place?
Keys, firearm, wallet? I don't see why you don't carry those on your persons...

It's about having the option to secure items. When I had my Wrangler, the tuffy consoles were great because they were very secure and I could leave anything in there. The wife, at times, has asked to secure things in the vehicle, like her purse or wallet.

Crime in CO has risen a bit and I want to be safe with any item I feel should not get in the wrong hands.

I live in CO also and been looking at the console vault. It's expensive which is what's holding me back. But I also don't keep anything in my car, so if they look inside, nothing is visible.
