Securikey programming but no valet switch?HELP

Hi everyone , I purchased a new securikey alarm remote from the dealer yesterday. The programming instructions say that I need to push the valet switch in order to program, but my car doesn't have one. It just has a red light on the dash.I took off the kick panel and looked underneath but could not find a valet switch. Do any of you have a securikey alarm but don't have a valet switch. Is there a way to program the remote without the valet switch. I have a 1997 runner sr5. Thanks in advance

Does the red light not push in? That's the valet switch on my 98.

Cant push it. It's Just a red bulb. Like the one u see on aftermarket alarms

The securikey+ has the valet switch, the standard alarm does not, as far as I've heard.
