My son has just purchased a 2001 Toyota 4runner, and he purchased a new keyless entry. We are having trouble programming it. The problem seems to be with the power door locks. You cannot lock/unlock the doors without the engine running. Is there possible some kind of security thing that we can check that might prevent it from locking with the key on?
