Securring Gear in the back from sliding around

I did a search and didn't find exactly what I was looking for. I'm looking to have a heavy duty gear bag that I store lug wrench, tools, tow hitch, recovery shackles, etc. that doesn't slide around or in an accident won't come flying through my head and then the windshield.

Just wonding what others use or do. I was thinking of using the hooks on the floor and some how securing the gear bag to those. Wanted something that looked clean rather than "Gerry Rigged"

Any cleaver ideas out there??

How big is the bag? I use a Toyota cargo net and it holds first aid kit, fluids, tools, and camera gear in back. Doesn't let them slide around either. And it can hold quite a bit

There are a few people that have made cargo boxes or storage bins for the back. You can search here for some. I like this one best myself:

Eventually I hope to get around to making something like that.

go to walmart and get you a good tuff box. you wont be dissapointed. I have a tuff box that has made it through IRAQ. Im talking about this thing was strapped to the top of my truck and has takin beatings like no other. even been tossed from the cargo bay of a double decker plane to the ground 4 times.... no cracks. you can cut sheet wood to make dividers then bolt them off. best 50-60 bucks ever spent.
