Seperate Canadian Threads

One thing I've noticed is it's tough to find other Canadians around here. For most threads it's not an issue (maintenance, how-to's, write-ups) but for anything related to classifieds or where to get parts, most advice from the US is quite honestly useless or super expensive.

We basically have to pay double for anything off ebay, and most inventories for Canadian versions of any US website don't have the same inventory.

Maybe I'm not looking hard enough, but are there any active Canadian focused threads? Is there someway to start a separate CAD classifieds section or something? Are there any resources on where to find parts up north?

Same here...I feel betrayed that PM Justin Bieber is not fulfilling his election promise to make sure every Canadian has affordable access to glitter jeans.

I'll save the day! it's Justin Trudeau. For Canadians on the border I know they usually ship to places on the US side and crossover. That doesn't really work for you in Edmonton though. There might be some active Canadian clubs in the club section here.

start a thread discussing US politics, and they will come out of the woodwork...

Yep, those Canucks sure like to come out wagging a finger in the face of Americans telling everyone who will listen how enlightened they are.

Canucks buying in the US

We are dual US/Cdn citizens and live less than 50 miles from the border, with family in the US. For years we have used an X-border outfit "Ship Happens", based in Sumas, WA. We order things from the US, have them shipped there, pick them up when we head south, ang get them back duty free if we are in WA for more than 2 days. Apparently there is another Ship Happens in Oroville, Wa, and similar outfits at many border Xings. Check them out. - Ted,
