Seperate sections for seperate models

I'm new here, so its not like I'm trying to push anyone around, but I've been noticeing the majority of 4Runner owners here are owners of newer 4Runners. I was wondering if a section dedicated to each of the different generations (and years per generation) could be set up, so I could talk directly with other 1997 (don't know the generation, new to 4Runners)? What do you all think?

dbldeus, once we have more members, then i will consider it. Right now, most of the owners are the current generation (2003-up). I know that there are some previous gen owners on this forum...but since the 4runners are pretty much the same in design thru-out the years (IFS, solid rear axle, body-on-frame), it's pretty easy to give advice cross-generations. Anyway, the new 4runner owners need wisdom from the old owners. This forum is already saturated with sub-forums...i don't want to clutter things up more.

But, we will see...there may be changes in the future....

Hey I just joined, and that was the first thing I noticed was no gen specific forums. That would be sweet to get some of those in there as soon as more people join up.
