sequoia wheel queston

UPDATE, will these fit?

so im really getting the ball moving on improvements and upgrades on my car, and im looking to get a set of the sequoia split 5 spoke wheels for my car, and have them powder coated black. my main question is will the bolt pattern and wheel size fit alright with the stock ride height? i know its a 17 inch rim, but i dont know what tire size comes on a sequoia. hoping that it the tires are just a 265/70/17, or possibly a little wider.

Yes, they will fit on your 4runner, and they come from the factory with 265/65r17 tires, but will fit 265/70r17 as well. I just bought a set of 4 with tires for my tundra on craigslist for $320
 
Yes, they'll fit. They will be a tiny bit pushed in, since the offset on these wheels is around 5" (vs. 4.625" on stock 4Runners).

I think they would look good on a 4runner.

hmm, so possibly those with a half inch wheel spacer would give a nice big beefy look.

i found a set of just the wheels for like, 400 shipped on ebay, but craigslist here i come :D
 
so i was searching craigslist and i found these, any idea if they will fit. if anyone is positive they will i will get them tomorow!!!

i'm pretty sure the tires will fit under there and that is a 4runner bolt pattern but as far as offcet/backspacing/center bore you got me lost on that one lol

The backspacing is too much. If you want to run a 285 series tire on a 4runner you need to have no more than about 4.75" backspacing. I'm pretty sure stock is 4.635" or something and most guys with stock wheels just barely clear the upper a-arms with 285s.
 
yea, well it was a great deal for these, but they just about needed new tires..... plus id rather have an offroad look

if anyone wants them they are $500 on sacramento craigslist

Maybe I'm missing something, but shouldn't they be a tiny bit pushed OUT compared to stock? The backspacing on these wheels are actually closer to 4.875", leaving about 3.625" from mounting surface to outside of rim. Remember, these wheels are 8.5" outside width (add 1" to the 7.5" bead width). The stock alloy wheels are 8" outside width (add 1" to the 7" bead width), subtracting 4.625" BS leaves 3.375" from mounting surface to outside of rim. So by this calculation, the Sequoia/Tundra wheels pushes out 0.25" over stock.

I don't have these wheels, I'm just going by specs. Your eyeballs may be better than my numbers...
