So today I was out playing and bummin around.

This Black Sequoia LTD. pulls up next to me actually acknowledges the Toyota family (cool ). I know these are basically Tundra platform SUVs .

This one has oversize BFG's , Tail light guards , brush guard with a few PIAA's on it , tinted windows , some after market rims rims that were black in side with a machined type polished lip.
Looked like 17" rims , tires looked like 265/70/17 ( guessing ???) Pretty tough off road look to it.

I really liked it , kind of a new spin on the ones I've seen before.

Wondering if Toyo will be making the new ones based on the 07 tundra platform. That should make quite a large truck.

Be interesting to see what they do with it. The Sequoia's competition Tahoe , Expedition ( new style's) do not look anywhere near as tough or off road savy as the Sequoia does. They seem to sit higher than the competition.

A restyled version of the Seq. with the 07 Tundra looks would look pretty kick ass IMO. I hope they don't lower it like they did with the 3rd to 4th gen 4 runner. It has a nice tough stance right now.

The rumor I've heard is that yes, the Sequoia and Tundra will be related. The Sequoia will be a bit bigger than it is now to continue to compete with Expedition and the other large SUV's.

Its kind of the same size now as the Tahoe / Expedition. I wonder if they will offer an extended version to compete with the Suburban ?

Uugh! Sequoia...Tahoe...Exped...these are not men's trucks, they are physche enhancing moving vehicles intended for picking up the kids and groceries... for the LADIES. I cringe when these words are spoken...written. Driving one is self-deprication.

Rant over! (need coffee)

Good humor ....:D

Bigger isn't always better off road either;my friend took his wife's Sequoia off road with us and it had some issues squeezing around obstacles and did leave some bumper paint behind.

DAMN guys relax..... I just thought it was a nice truck ....jesus !!!

Totally agree bigger is not better , the 4r can sneek in and around what bigger truck can't. That what I like so much about it.

No I won't even tell you guy's about the Toyota Matrix 4x4 I saw with a huge lift and 35" tires:D
