Service interval for 'maint' light

anyone know if there is a way to alter the 4500 mile trigger for the MAINT light? I have not found an entry in Techstream for that but thought this would be a really useful thing as i do changes at 7500 - 10K miles based on oil analysis and it gets dicey just resetting the light when it first comes on and waiting for the 2nd coming to do an o/c.

Anyone delved deep in the software?

Getting my 5th oil change next wk & I know guy did my son's 05 , will try remember ask him how he did it ! I think he did something pretty simple , almost like Owner's man. says for clearing Maint. light .
