Service recommendation in Vegas?

So I have a two separate issues right now that I need to get in for repair. One is the Engine Light and VSC/TRAC lights are on and a scantool shows it as a SMALL EVAP LEAK, hopefully this is something cheap and simple like the gas cap gasket or something. The second is a tapping in the engine which I'm being told is possibly a valve lifter or a shim.

Does anyone have a recommendation for a place to go in Las Vegas to get the work done? I was going to take it to Lexus of Las Vegas as Lexus shops tend to be a bit nicer in my experience and treat you a little bit better but I just got off the phone with them and they do not do anything but general maint on Toyota's at this Lexus dealership. Funny since TPAT trains their technicians for both Toyota and Lexus so theres no reason why from that end not to. So now I am searching for another place to go that is going to do the work right and not completely rip me off (I know looking at a dealership is going to cost me a lot more money).

Wow, sorry about the delay on the response, I didn't even know you had responded. I moved out to Vegas in the middle of last year and now live here full time - although I do travel a lot.

Eh, not totally. Precision Performance although my quote for both left/right exhaust manifold replacement was fairly cheap on labor, they were charging dealer prices for the parts (each manifold can be gotten for $130 cheaper even on partznet) and wouldn't permit me to purchase the parts elsewhere. Unfortunately I have to get this work done and since I can't find anywhere else I think I am going to have to use them. I am also not thrilled about having my car sit in an unsecured parking lot for the time I would have it there. Since I travel a lot, it would have to be there for a minimum of a week, possibly two.

The guys at the shop seemed really nice and all, I just really wanted to try to avoid spending $2,000 to do this work.

I use this guy TOYOTA/LEXUS on Decatur & Oakey 2017 S. Decatur Armik is his name 878-7771 He's let me bring my own parts on my is300 & 4r & tacoma good guy but as always call & confirm . He likes to use oem but is not locked into it . 35 yrs. experience I trust him , not like some if you need the work yes if not doesn't force you at all . Don't understand why people won't let customer's bring their own parts ? Labor 's where they make their $$ Anyway give him a call Mike n LV

Thanks, I'll give him a call. I don't mind paying for the parts, I just expect that since this isn't a dealer, that they don't charge me the outragous costs thats I would at a dealer. Back in PA I never ran into this at small shops. They were all reasonable for parts costs. Even if we are just talking the manifolds, I wouldn't mind even spending $600 per side, but the MSRP in the $700 range isn't going to happen. So yea, if he'll let me bring the two manifolds and the gaskets for them and he can provide the rest as needed (truck is from the east so theres a bunch of rust and I'd prefer to replace anything rusty that comes off with new if possible) then that would be great.
