So i picked up my 4runner in November of 2011 and have loved it since. ITs an 04 v8 4x4. When i got it had roughly 140k mostly highway miles and looked almost brand new!

I want to build this more as a expo/camping rig
So list of things done
- toytec spacer lift (soon to be replaced with OME 885s and 5100s)
- 285s
- custom roof rack
- 40 inch led bar
- cb with 3 foot firestick

Things to be done
- custom sliders about to get welded on
- skids all designed
- finish roof rack
- bumpers (CBI front hopefully by Christmas)
- LR upper control arms
- many many other things
I started with a 91 Landcruiser and when that died i need something new.

day i bought it

So after about two weeks i got tired of the stock look.

toytec spacer lift and superflex coils in the rear also ditched the runningboards and did a CB around the same time.

After the lift I got a job up in east Idaho and also decided to get back into school. We have a pretty nice wheeling spot that we hit up on the weekends.

So after about a yar of driving with the lift and stock tires i was kinda getting tired of the little tires. I bought a set of michelin LTX A/T2 from a buddy.

What a difference! these are amazing! i did have a little rubbing like most people but its no big deal.

Yellowstone

Mannnnn.... I've always wanted to goto Yellowstone national park, seeing your pics makes me want to drive there now!

Thanks for sharing with us! :)

The tires helped out a ton! looks a million times better too! I just did the exhaust the other day too. I put the flowmaster 50 on it. Truck sounds amazing! not to loud but mellows out on the highway.

So I finally got around to installing my rock lights. I took out one of the screws in the fender and put the light in the hole.

I plan I putting the other ones I have in the back kinda like I did the front.

I love those lights. When i got mine i bought over a dozen. I have some ideas for the ones i have left.

They are really bright! im thinking about getting some of the square ones from superbrightleds to put under the truck. Im also working on a roof rack. Something low profile.

So ive been pretty busy with school and work but ive managed to finally get some stuff done. I bent up a brake line drop bracket a while ago and finally got around to putting it on the truck.

So for my birthday I picked up a 40inch led bar. I got the harness in today but no bar :sobbing:. I got an email later saying that there was a mix up with the shipping and that the bar will be here Wednesday!

The delay of my Led bar works for me cuz this means I can finish my rack. Im going with the same style as the Baja for 5th gens and fjs.

This is what it should look like, but knowing me ill probably change some things so I can get it finished faster.

Look what came!!!!!

Im trying to catch up with some of yall!
We spend a lot of time out in the desert so I know this will get good use!

I spent a few hours today working with connor building the feet to mount the rack. he is currently still working on it. its been about 8 hours of a project so far but its turning out pretty good.
