You won't be able to do it.... Your mileage is stored IN the cluster, and therefore you'd be breaking the law because you have a different odometer reading than it actually is.

Possibly a spap of just the cluster face and needles? Maybe they're the same size and it could just be a swap.

I think it is stupid for Toyota to make it where it's stored in the cluster.

.......................... when I get the limited gauges. Does anyone know if the connections on the back are the same for both gauges & if they bolt up the same? It seems they would be.

Not 100% sure a Limited cluster will work, I thought I saw somewhere the pins are arranged differently, but I could be wrong. That being said, when Alex did my gauges, he plugged them into his sport and it lit right up. Most functions work (speedo/tach/fuel/temp) work.

When looking for a limited cluster make sure:
1) it's a 4x2 like yours
2) V8 (redlines are different)
3) it has the same suspension yours does (adjustable suspension equipped or not)
4) can't remember what else, but you MIGHT still get a CEL......

Anyway, yes, the mileage is stored on the cluster which is very stupid. Anyway, when you verify that a Limited cluster will fully work on your rig, get a cluster that has roughly the same mileage. that will save headaches when you go through state inspection............

OR, you can get Alex to swap out your LEDs on your truck and get the Limited look.

I'm in Georgia. We don't have state inspections. Just emissions.
