Looks fantastic, enjoy it man! When I was looking, the only SR5's available were used SR5s from the US.... which look no-where near as nice as the Canadian version!

I just came from a 1000km trip and I couldn't be happier with T4R, really appreciated soft suspension driving on some rough non-maintained roads. And then back on higway it's drives very solid - I think Toyota found good balance between offroad and on-road manners. Didn't get into any serious offroad stuff, but even stock tires can handle some mud and big puddles. Nevertheless I want to buy some A/T tires in forseeable future, by the way If you keep stoock tires make sure that you set tire pressure to 34-35 psi - that way SR5 rides way nicer on highway.

You're right, there were few 4Runners on dealership inventory between Feb and Mar. here in GTA. I was initially promised one week delivery as the dealership will trade one of their 4Runners (Salsa Red) with another dealership for classic silver. That did not materialized, but luckily there are new 4Runners just off Vancouver yard. I waited for 26 days and was well worth it.

I think Limited and TE are same for US and CANADA.

I agree with you Scanny, in fact I was really surprised how soft the 4Runner suspension are. We went to Bufallo, NY last weekend to test drive this baby. It was really comfortable ride. I did some back road driving today and tested switching between 4hi and 2 rear wheel drive. It was a breeze and no issues at all switching between the two settings (good practice for winter months driving). I have started looking into A/T and Winter tires as well. For A/T, I am considering GY Silent Armour or Duractrac, Bridgetone Revo 2 and BFG A/T KO. Or I might just have dedicated winter tires as before, most likely Hakka or Bridgestone Blizzak. We'll see...

Thanks for the tip, I think tires are at 32 psi and I like the ride (soft). I will try to set 34-35 and see how it rides.

Mine was supposed to be here today, but I called and they said it should be there tomorrow, but that they need a day to 'prep' it....whatever that means... dont see why that takes a full day either....

Canadian trail has KDSS standard and the sliding rear cargo tray and no Nav option, and I think standard running boards (dont know if they're standard in the US?). All Limiteds in Canada have 3rd row, but otherwise are the same (I think)....

I'm deciding between Michelin LTX A/T2 and Firestone Destination. Duratrac was my third choice, but I'm not sure if LT tires are a good choice for long highway trips. I think that good AT tires would be enough for winter here unless you are going up north often. My stock tires was ok last winter, event on ski trip to Vermont they performed satisfactory. Not great, but they adequate for few inches of snow on the road.

I vote Destinations, that's what I'm going with. They just seem more bang for the buck.
