shift indicator bulb replacement

have a 1996 4runner with 288,000 miles on it. need to replace a bulb on my auto transmission shifter.
any help would be appreciated. do not want to pay someone else to do.

ok so my question was answered but how do you detach the leather around the gear shifter?

You don't remove it fully. You screw off the knob of the shifter, and then the leather will come out.
