i would probably start by checking the slack on the line pressure cable 1st. Its easy and free. if that is slack, take the slack out and go for a drive. see if that gives you what your after...
that is what i did. was looking into shift kits till i read about the line pressure cable and like the throttle cable, found it loose with allot of slack in it. a few turns and were good to go.
The shifts do take some getting used to. But after awhile you'll come to like it. I got in a stock 4runner a few weeks ago and hated how the gears just kinda mushed together. Jumped back in mine and loved how I can feel what the truck is doing.
Nice, what are your average ambient temps and how large is your aux cooler?
