Shift knob

Pretty silly question here.

Has anyone replaced the stock shift knob on their 5spd? Or has anyone recovered theirs? The emblem showing the shift pattern on mine is perfect but the leather around it is pretty worn and dirty.

Pictures of what you replaced it with would be great!

No pictures but i replaced mine with one from Marlin Crawler. You just unscrew it and replace with whatever you like. Ebay had new OEM ones for around $50.

How about it turning on an electric fence box, hooked to the passenger seat? That way, you shock your copilot, that tells him/her to get their ass out and lock the hubs!

Then it would be a working locking hub switch!!!

Im planning on using a connecting rod from my old 3.0. I also have a piece the stock from one of my plants i grew this summer that im was planning on useing to make a "T" handle shifter.
