Shifter Knob: Lexus compatible (pics)

Looks great cookieroe!

Have you considered any of the stick-on dash overlays to cover up the boring gray look of our trucks? I'm not referring to the wood overlays, but something more sporty like the CF versions.

I would like to cover mine up with a black or silver CF, but haven't seen any install in a 4Runner, so am not sure how it will look.

I can't find an automatic TRD Shift Knob anywhere, what am I missing here??

I really like the ones with the red stitching, but they are all for manuals.

Suggestions??

So many mods, so little time (money)

I would look into that, but I have alot of mods left that are not finished or want to do.

1) Finish connecting the Bluetooth so it work on my factory NAV.
2) Install rear view camera/tear into the tailgate to install in OEM position
3) Replace center dash piece (my current one really bothers me)
4) buy and/or install twin rear DVD, headrest integrated monitors (I have a seven month old now, so I better get moving)
5) B&I steering wheel (leather and gray wood): CHECK IT OUT HERE
6) Redo my Bixenon retros (not a priority)
7) Send my HVAC controls to emelianenkov to install red LED to "off position" and change A/C light to blue LED. That's it.
8) Had that push button ignition button on the list but that's a NO GO.

As you can see, I have a ton of mods to go (and a ton of money). It's all worth to me. I plan on keeping (barring no accidents that total her) my runner for a very long time.

I ordered this today with inspiration from this thread.

Nice list there.

Once a modder, always a modder my friend. You don't need to justify your list to anyone. :)

Its your truck, you have to do what you have to do to keep you happy - plain and simple.

I modded another vehicle (still have it) so much, that it's not drivable in the winter, so ended up getting the 4Runner and now have started modding that too.............

My list is not as big as yours though - I'm just doing simple stuff. Getting an HID retrofit done tonight - this is by far the most expensive mod and will probably be the most expensive mod for another year when I plan to rip out the stereo and install the Kenwood DNX9990HD Nav, HU.

I like the leather seats and want to do something about that, but that will also have to wait till the following year after the NAV mod.

Has anyone else installed any OEM-looking shifter knobs besides the TRD and Lexus options? I have the Urban Runner package with the black/gray wood grain trim. The Lexus handles are too short in my opinion. I don't want any brown wood grain that doesn't match. The TRD knobs are not much different than the OEM leather knob I have now.

I found this one on eBay from a Toyota Helix. I LOVE it and it would match perfectly. Wrong thread size though. http://vi.raptor.ebaydesc.com/ws/eB...1622&category=33703&pm=1&ds=0&t=1441337802092

I also just bought a new steering wheel with black piano wood so I'm trying to find a shifter knob to match!

I picked up a new FJ crusier shift knob w/ silver trim. Cut it down to fit our 4runners and I like it alot. The silver trim matches perfectly. Heres the thread: http://www.toyota-4runner.org/5th-gen-t4rs/164008-cutting-fj-shifter-knob-fit-toyota-4runner.html
