Shifter lights

The lights on my gear shifter housing (P, R, N, D ect.) don't light up.

pretty sure I just need a new light, just thought I'd post here and see if someone has done it before.

the lights are on the shifter, on the floor. I am going to mess with it tomorrow.

It's a 74 bulb.

I have been having some weird problems with lights on my 2000. The backlights for the vent stopped working for while, then started working again. Electrial problems are not fun on a car with so many wires. Hopefully your problem is just the bulb.

my 99 takes a 194 in the shifter but it wouldnt light up for some reason. then i thought maybe plugging the dimmer back in would complete the circuit and sure enough, it did. lol

The 74 bulb was a hair to big, I needed a 73 bulb.

Now I just need to get my front seats repaired and I'll be happy as a clam.

I did not know this... lol someone clarify, please?

Also, my ECT and rear defroster buttons, they work great, but don't light up... is that right?
