Recently picked up a 1994 4Runner 4x4 3.0v6 having some trouble weeding out two issues. The first is the tranny keeps shifting wierd from high to low and back again every 5-10 seconds when I get over 55 almost like it would if you were pulling a trailer up a hill and it down shifts to pull better, except no trailer and no hill ans very often lol. Friend said it could be the TPS but he's just guessing. And the second is the 4x4 isn't working. Transfer case is fine , you can see the drive shaft turning but no tires pulling. How do I trouble shoot that ? Just a guess but I was thinking an actuator or vacuum line ? Any and all advice is appreciated !!!
