Shock Lengths: OME vs OEM?

Does anyone know how much longer the OME front shock is compared to the OEM shock? I am looking for extended length specs.

Thanks in advance!

OME shows the 90004 and N91S as 473mm and 470mm.

If anyone has a pic of the stock shock next to either OME shock, that would help as well.

Nope, stock. The CV binding is what's stopping my down travel.

That's crazy, so when you are at full droop your wheel doesn't spin freely?

My mid-travel setup doesn't bind at full droop, I run Lotus CVs now but even with stock OEM axles i had zero bind.

I wouldn't call it binding exactly, the CV will turn fine it's just the angle is maxed out I think. I may be full of shit though, I never removed the hub to see just how low the CV would droop independent of the suspension to see if that truly is the limiting factor. :noidea:

If I'm wrong and it is the ball joints/tie rod/not CV then that's all the better, I just know that the Total Chaos kit advertises a max 13-14" of travel and if you just scale up the stock geometry of where it droops to (with no shock) it matches that amount of travel, which leads me to think it's the CV limiting the travel since everything else is upgraded with the LT kit.

I actually have that pic. But it's on my wife's computer. I can post it up tonight when she gets home from work. Will that help?
