I'm contemplating new rear shocks as my Bilstein ext. length 5125's are beginning to cause a more harsh ride as I've added a lot more weight in the rear. They're also about 4 years old with heavy usage. I've been looking at the OME-60027's however, I don't want to sacrifice too much travel for comfort as the Bilstein's flex extremely well. I'm just trying to achieve a better ride in the rear while keeping good flex. Should I stick with the Bilstein's or try out the OME's? Will the stiffer 60027's offer any better ride than my current shocks? I will add I'm also running rear OME 891's to accommodate for the extra weight. They are well past the breaking in stage.
