Shock Question

The front shocks on my 2004 4 runner are leaking. It does have the X-REAS system, but I'm going to have someone install regular shocks instead of the X-REAS ones. I ordered some new shocks, and it is going to take 3 or so weeks to get them. :ybrick:

My question is can I still drive the vehicle (cautiously) without further damaging some other component? Thanks in advance!
