Any body else getting the static electricity build up with their runner? Sometimes worse then others, just annoying, not a problem.

I have this problem with most of my vehicles. Dry skin, 20-30% humidity, not enough water intake, sliding across the seat while exiting the vehicle (cause of static charge), and POW! Thankfully, haven't to much of a problem with the runner.

I get that in my gf's yaris. Everytime i stick my hand down in the handle area inside to open the door. i think she may have a ground loose or something though.

I used to suffer from those nasty shocks, ouch! Easy way to get rid of it for good: get yourself a keyring that come with a piece of metal, can be anything, stainless steel, alumium etc. Hold on to that metal keyring when you enter/exit the vehicle. The static is built up from the rubbing of your clothes and the fabric seats. Touching a small piece of metal can discharge the static build-up so you don't accumulate too much to get shocked.
