Shocks- Advice por favor

I know there a lot of threads out there about suspension and lifts, but i have looked extensively and cannot find a solid answer.

I have a 99 4runner, 190K miles on original shocks and springs, I have the factory 15 in rims on, so i know i am lower than most.

The ride is terrible and i am due for a replacement, so im going to replace both the shocks and springs all the way around. Now since im lower down, im going to add a little bit of height and use 99 tall coils (4X4) coils all the way around, and Bilsteins.

My question is, with these coils, would i be better off with the 4600s or 5100s.

I off-road a little, but only on local trails so nothing to bad. I mostly use it for around town, and going home for breaks, about 800 mile round trip 3-4 times a year.

EDIT: Or would tokico trekmasters or KYB be a better option for what im looking for???

If your not lifted you might as well stick to the OEM Tokico shocks.

I'd go with the 4600's over the 5100's. They'll suit your needs just fine and save you a few bucks.

I just put a set of 4600s on mine (stock height 4X4) and I'm quite pleased with them. Mind you, they've only been on since Thursday, but I'm still pleased.

They don't actually make 5100s for a stock 4runner as far as I know. The compressed length is a bit on the long side and the extended length risks dropping a spring if you flex it too much. To do it properly, you'd have to modify your bump stops and have some sort of axle strap IMO. Reason enough to go with the 4600s

I went with the 4600 Yellow/Blues and 99 Tall springs on my 96.

I found them to be extremely stiff initially (just the fronts) but after about 12,000 Km they are fine now. I am happy with them.

I also upgraded to OME2906 rear springs as the 99 tall rears left me sagging in the back.

I put 4600s on mine about 80k miles ago, and while I've been pleased, the wife hasn't. They were pretty harsh initially, but they softened up a bit after the first 10k or so. My wife has whined about how hard they are since day one, but she's not driving the 4Runner much since she got a 2009 Mazda 6s.

Thanks guys, sounds like im either going to go with the 4600s or trekmasters.
My only other question is about the rear springs. Ive read alot about how the 99 highlanders sag on the back and some have gone with OME 906 springs.
Is that worth looking into? 99 talls on the front and OME for the rears?
I really just want it to sit even, after settling. I dont mind a little rake, but nothing too bad. There wont be much weight in the back, except maybe once or twice on my trips home.
