shocks for superflex coils

Does anybody know the part number for the extended length 5100's toytec offers with their superflex coils? Or at least the extended and compressed lengths?

I believe they are using 5100's spec'd for a fJC. Hopefully that can aid you in your search.

The real part number should look more like "24-187497". Maybe someone who already has them can chime in with a true part number.

For any one looking for the specs for the so called Bilstein 5100 9602R703
the real part number is 33-187174 they are 14.91 compressed and 23.50 extended.

But they are fjc rear shocks and if you buy it like it's cheaper then of toytec. Even if u go under fjc in toytec they cheaper then under 4runner category. Marketing$$!!

Marketing? That sounds like borderline bad business practice to me. I understand business for profit and am all for it, but misleading someone into believing they are getting a special product by advertising it under different part number raising the price seems unethical.

Exactly my point sir. I called toytec my self and the guy compared their so called part number to their fjc rear shock and it was indeed the same. Telling few bushings are different. Which is bs. SS steel told me straight up that fjc rear bilstein bolt right on our 4runner , just we need extended bump stops so we don't blow the shocks.

Interesting about the price difference for sure. I am running the Tokicos and couldn't be happier after a hard weekend of wheeling in Moab. Especially at $80 a pair.

That is not BS. What he told you is true. Toytec does swap out part of the upper bushings when they send these shocks out for 3rd gens as apposed to 4th & 5th gens and FJs. So he was not feeding you BS there. However the bushing pack that comes with the shocks will also work. If I remember right they just swap out two of the upper ones to a skinnier bushing. Does that justify the $10 cost difference? They must think so.

By bs I meant it shouldnt really raise the price up for 3rd gen.
