Shocks Kicking my Butt!!

Well I am pretty sure the shocks on my truck were the factory original and lets just say they were wore out. Passenger side was pretty easy, driver side is kicking my butt. Had to cut the top screw since the nut would not budge, the bottom nut came off but the bolt will not come out even while tapping it with a hammer. Hope the rears are easier tomorrow.

But I have to admit I am enjoying working on this one. Once I get it done and down to the hunting club I am going to have to find another to work on and have here at the house.

It's addicting, isn't it? Any time I dig into something on my rig it turns into a long greasy profanity-fest, but once I'm done I immediately start planning the next bunch of cash to throw at it...

JLewis, Do you have any 1/4 or 3/8" punches? I would be willing to bet that your lower rubber shock bushings were destroyed long ago and it caused damage to your bolt and metal sleeve between the bolt and rubber bushing. I did a lift on my buddies runner a couple weeks ago and we had to pound the snot out of the lower bolts using a beefy punch because of the damage I stated above.
