Shocks?

Ive got some sag in the rearend of my 93. I'm replacing the rear springs with Moog parts, but what do you guys suggest for shocks?

If you plan on keeping it stock -- Old Man Emu or KYB MonoMax. The KYBs worked great for me until it was time to lift.

If you have a "sag" in the rear of the truck, shocks alone won't get rid of it. You might consider:
1) shocks
2) springs (MOOG)
3) control/lateral arm bushings (preferably urethane)

If you are keeping it stock, Gabriels from Advanced Auto work great. If you are lifting, OME is the best choice. If you are doing an SAS, Bilstein seems to be the choice.

Rear ended up slightly high. It has settled since and sits perfect. Rear fender well supposed to be lower than front.

People. Read the whole post first. He has a 2nd gen, so its coils springs, not leafs. Also, he has already stated he getting new coils, so you dont need to keep telling him to get new springs.

In a stock configuration, any quality shock will be fine.

I just did Moog spring with Monroe shocks (all from Rockauto).

I know that Monroe is not as good as a name like OME, but I needed to keep it fairly cheap (and I don't really offroad).

I think the shock I removed were stock, so even cheap shocks and springs made a big difference!
